writer / filmmaker
Giovanni was born in a bathtub in Mexico City at 8:40AM CET. He was then adopted by three Texan longhorns named Peter, Tommy and Larry. Raised on a cattle ranch called 'Cinco Ranch' somewhere between Sealey and Houston, he was taught the languages most people refer to as Spanish and English. At the age of 18 he was legally ordained ‘Tex-Mex’ by the Texican Heritage Council due to being at once both of the Mex and of the Tex. Now placed in the custody of humans he was told to get serious about something. He decided to get serious about making movies using his dad’s old Nikon DSLR and so on and so forth.
After some years, some life and some travels he found himself in New York City. Missing the wild whirling wind, big sun and tall oak trees from his youth, he finds solace in his apartment watching movies about the trees, the wind, the sunlight and the shadows. Now he dedicates himself to making fictional and non-fictional films about fictional and non-fictional people, places and things.
